SIO held a stall at the Mental Health Provider Forum on the 3rd October and gave a brief speech on what Stamp It Out is and a few highlights. This was a successful event, speaking to lots of professionals and understanding what other services are out there to support mental health.
SIO also held a roadshow at Houghall College in the lead up to WMHD on the 5th October, SIO were contacted directly by the Students Union Officer to have a stall for students to get information. Students and teachers came up to the stall to ask questions about our offers and show an interest in the work that we do.

Finally, Investing in Children and Rollercoaster Parent Support held a Wizard of Oz themed WMHD celebration event for professionals, families and young people to attend. As part of this event SIO were able to hold an information stand, where people had access to information, merchandise and resources. There were lots of conversations with professionals, young people and families. In particular there were lots of people interested in our training offers and the recent work being done with primary and secondary schools, this opens up scope for potential work in a wider range of schools in County Durham.
Overall, the event was a great opportunity to network with other people and hear the successes of other organisations projects.
